Fremont Public Schools working with DA Davidson issued $92 million of the $123 million the voters approved last September on March 17.  Due to the favorable bond market and the confirmation of the District’s A+ bond rating the bonds were sold at a 3.31% interest rate.  The bond proceeds will be forwarded to the school district on March 31.  The remaining bonds will be sold at a later date.

“We continue to move forward with our bond planning process. We are excited to begin work this summer when school is out,” stated superintendent Mark Shepard. “Taking advantage of the favorable bond market was key in being able to accomplish the projects outlined when the voters gave their approval last fall,” Shepard concluded..
