Welcome to Washington School! We believe all students can achieve success in learning and becoming good citizens. At Washington, we implement a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support System (PBiS) to establish and maintain a safe and effective school environment that maximizes academic achievement and behavioral competence of all students. Students learn to F.I.S.H. at Washington School; Follow Directions, I am Responsible, Safety First, and Have Respect. We believe that all students are able to learn at high levels of achievement. Washington School offers many extended learning opportunities aimed at reading this goal.

Washington School is one of three new preschool sites at Fremont Public Schools! We are very excited to offer Washington neighborhood families an opportunity to enroll their preschool aged children in our new program. Please call the school if you would like more information.

Washington School is committed to making all of our families feel welcome. We thank you for getting involved in your son/daughter’s education and encourage you to participate in school activities. Our Washington School PTA is always happy to have parents share ideas and help with activities that are planned throughout the year for our students and their families.

Washington bi-lingual (English and Spanish) staff members work with studBuildingents to help them learn English and with all academic areas. If you need to speak to someone who is bi-lingual please call between the hours of 7:30-8:30 in the morning or 2:30-3:30 in the afternoon, unless it is an emergency. We are able to help you at other times during the day, but this takes time away from helping students with their classes.

Please contact the school office at 402-727-3164 or diane.stevens@fpsmail.org with any questions about Washington School. Go Penguins!
