HEALTH SERVICES

Welcome to Fremont Public Schools Health Services! The Health/Nursing Services Department directly strengthens the educational process through constructively developing , maintaining, and improving the well being of the total child-physically, mentally, and emotionally, to attain the highest degree of positive health possible. This is accomplished by, but not limited to:

  • Health Screening
  • Immunization monitoring
  • First Aid and Medication administration
  • Communicable disease monitoring
  • Health promotion and health education
  • Chronic health condition management
  • Utilize community resources to promote health of children and families
  • Provide individualized health care planning and direct care for children with special needs
  • Emergency response planning and implementation

Optimal learning requires good health. The school nurse helps provide this service. Please contact the school nurse assigned to your child’s school whenever you have a question or concern related to your child’s health.
