English Language Learners
General Education Services
FROM THE ASSOCIATE SUPERINTENDENT
Welcome to the Fremont Public Schools Student Services web page! The Student Services Department provides leadership in programs and services which support the academic, social, behavioral, and emotional benefit of all students. Our greatest success occurs when students, parents, staff, and the community work together in cooperation and collaboration to meet the needs of all students. Together, hand in hand, we can ensure learning for all students.
Student Services are categorized under English Language Learners, General Education, and Special Education. This site was developed to provide parents, students, and community members information regarding the continuum of services and resources offered by our dedicated staff. If you or a student is in need of assistance in any of these areas, please feel free to contact a member of the Student Services Department. Our offices are located at the Main Street Education and Administration Center at 130 E. 9th Street.
The Fremont Public School District has an ongoing “Child Find” system, which is designed to locate, identify and evaluate any child residing within its geographical boundaries who may have a disability and may be in need of Special Education services. In addition, children with any disability which substantially limits a major life activity, may receive accommodations and modifications to allow them access to an appropriate education (Section 504).
Fremont Public Schools requests your help in locating infants, toddlers, or school-age children who are eligible to benefit from Special Education or Section 504 services. If you know of a child who lives within the boundaries of the Fremont Public School District, who may have a disability and is not receiving services, please contact us.
