FROM THE SCHOOL BOARD
The Board of Education of the Fremont Public Schools believes that it is the responsibility of the school district to provide a positive learning environment that offers learning opportunities for all children of the community. The Board sees the primary mission of the schools is to produce creative, adaptable, productive, citizens committed to lifelong learning.
The Board believes that the schools belong to the people and that the people select the Board to represent them and to determine local educational plans, policies, goals, and objectives. The Board also believes that accountability is a shared responsibility involving students, parents, administrators, teachers, other school employees, and community members.
Regular Board of Education meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, 6:30 p.m. The meetings are held in the in the Board Room of the Main Street Building, 130 East 9th Street. Individuals interested in addressing the Board will be recognized at the beginning of the meeting.
