Fremont Public Schools Announcing Mask Mandate

 

Fremont, Neb. – (Jan. 17, 2022) Based on the COVID-19 surge due to the Omicron variant, beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Friday, January 28 all Fremont Public School buildings will be under a mandatory mask requirement.  This requirement also applies to all District owned, leased and chartered vehicles.

 

We continue to monitor our numbers on a daily basis.  While the numbers are currently relatively low – they have trended higher in the past several weeks.  The District will reconsider the mask requirement when the current trend reverses.  The District continues to work directly with Three Rivers Public Health and take our leads from them.

 

Important reminders as return to class on Tuesday, January 18 include:

  • STAY HOME if you are sick.
  • STAY HOME if you have not been fever free for 24 hours without medication.
  • STAY HOME if you have been tested for COVID-19 and have not received your test results.

Este requisito también se aplica a todos los vehículos propios, alquilados y fletados por el Distrito.

 

Continuamos monitoreando nuestros números diariamente. Si bien los números son actualmente relativamente bajos, han tenido una tendencia al alza en las últimas semanas. El Distrito reconsiderará el requisito de mascarilla cuando se invierta la tendencia actual. El Distrito continúa trabajando directamente con el Departamento de Salud Pública de Three Rivers y sigue nuestras recomendaciones.

 

Los recordatorios importantes para el regreso a clases el martes 18 de enero incluyen:

  • QUÉDESE EN CASA si está enfermo.
  • QUÉDESE EN CASA si no ha estado libre de fiebre durante 24 horas sin medicamentos.
  • QUÉDATE EN CASA si te han hecho la prueba de COVID-19 yhas norecibido losprueba resultados de la.
