Household members should sit together and social distance from others.  Players will wear masks prior to the contest, on the bench,  during intermissions and at the conclusion of the game.  Coaches and event workers will wear masks at all times.

Cross Country and Girls Golf:  Fans will not be limited.  Masks are required for spectators, workers and coaches.  Social distancing must be adhered to.  Participants will wear masks prior to the contest and anytime they are not engaged in warm-ups or competition.  Further restrictions may be enforced by the facility hosting the event.

The protocol for each sport was developed based on guidance from the Heartland Athletic Conference, NSAA, the National Federation of High School Sports and Three Rivers Public Health.

Scott Anderson, FHS Activities Director, shared, “We continue to work with schools that will be hosting away contests to understand their protocol.  As we approach away contests we will need to communicate with our families the restrictions that may be in place.  Scrimmages this fall have provided an opportunity for the high school to practice the protocol and make necessary changes as competitions begin. As we progress through the fall sports season, adjustments may need to be made to these plans.”

“We are excited for our students and their opportunity to represent themselves, their families, our school and Fremont. We know this fall will be a challenge, if everyone follows the protocol as outlined we have a really good chance of being able to have our students continue to compete this fall,” stated Heidi Moran, Assistant Activities Director.
