From the Administrator

The Facilities Management Department’s primary goal is to provide quality services to help enhance the learning environments for students and staff. We strive to ensure the day-to-day operations of the buildings and facilities run smoothly. The department employs 45 full-time and six part-time team members along with many substitute custodians and other contracted services as needed.

Facilities Management consists of Custodial/Environmental Services and Maintenance. Together, we provide services that cover the following areas:

  • Athletic Field Maintenance and Preparation

  • Building Emergency Response

  • Custodial/Environmental Services

  • Door jambs and hardware

  • Electrical and Lighting

  • Fire Alarm Systems

  • Furniture Repair/Welding (when possible)

  • Grounds Management

  • Gutters and Drainage

  • Heating/Ventilation/Air Quality

  • Item Assembly as Requested

  • Liaison to Police and City Operations

  • Locksmith

  • New Construction Projects

  • Painting

  • Pest Control

  • Playground Equipment Inspection & Repair

  • Plumbing

  • Remodeling
